Gravity And Need

Potential book jacket for a short story, 'Gravity and Need' by Marcus Sakey, taken from a collection of short stories from up-and-coming crime authors - 'Killer Year'.
This is my first attempt at a reduction linocut and I am pretty pleased with the result, especially as the first colour was cut before I decided it would be a reduction.
However, I am really not sure about the type, which has been applied digitally. I don't want to spend too long thinking about it though, so I am moving on to another image.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this though!

I think it looks amazing. I love the visual double-take of the wedding ring / stigmata, and the coloring and almost vicious line work really suggest the story.

My first name is with a C, not a K, but otherwise, I'm floored and flattered.

Would you be okay with me posting this on my website? MarcusSakey.com.

Cheers,
-Marcus

Thanks so much! Yeah that would be amazing! I'll upload a version with the correct spelling, not sure how I missed that!

Cheers again!

Stick with using digital font, I like it. There are thousands out there for a reason.

Okay, I've just uploaded it with the correct spelling.

Thanks again, Marcus. I loved the story, and I'm so flattered that you like my interpretation.

Cheers
