These are some photos I've taken (in my bedroom, by the way; no professional studio for me!) and have been playing around with to use as reference for a current project. I am especially interested in the stark shadows that can be created. I'm not going to mention the ideas behind the many concepts flowing round my head, only a couple of which are explored here, but I would love to hear which stand-alone image you think is strongest.

The chiaroscuro on that last picture is stunning. Who knew a pair of shoes could be so compelling to look at.
